Oh dear.
Miku had a bit of an accident this morning, as you can see.
Anyone know how to fix her? Anyone know someone who’ll do it for me?
Great to see that she’s still in high spirits.
Musicians are always doing crazy things in the name of publicity. This accident may give her career a boost.
I call this one “Making The Best Of A Bad Situation”.
I’m going to close this post with some inspirational words about how we all have problems in our lives that seem like a major inconvenience but are actually a blessing in disguise. By mine miku the same happend xD , i took a lighter and bruned the piece of plastic out of her neck i took from my other figma (konata summer ver. has 2 heads and 2 head joints) the neck joint and pulled to miku but the neck was hardly burned then i took Aluminum foil and bound it over her neck took my lighter and just warmed up the plastic so i drew the plastic neck long and pulled all togehter and you see shes happy now xD but be carfull.
this seems to be a common problem with miku figmas…
i just took a small nail and poked into the joint at an angle and lifted it out of her neck. from there i just took the remaining part of the joint and tried to repair it, but it just wouldn’t hold up. so i just borrowed a joint from another figma, now all is well.
i like the idea of using heat to repair the joint though, i may try that with the broken joint now that its been removed from my miku.
Oh dear, poor miku. Hey do you know where i could find a miku hatsune figma in the UK?
I got mine from Play-Asia, but these things tend to sell out quickly. I’d tell you to try somewhere like J-List or Tokyotoys, but she’s not in stock there, either.
I just noticed that I’ve spelt ‘practice’ incorrectly. 11 months and I never noticed it.
